About

Applied Research in System Analysis (ARiSA) AB has been founded in 2006 by researchers at the Computer Science department of the Växjö University, nowadays Linnaeus University as spin-off company. The intension is to market software quality tools and related services, experience, and research results.

Today ARiSA is the research and development division of Softwerk AB led by Dr. Rüdiger Lincke. We work in close cooperation with the software technology research group at Linnaeus University led by Prof. Dr. Welf Löwe.

Experience

These services and products are grouped around a unique analysis tool, the Quality Monitor, allowing for objective assessment of software and visualization of the assessment results on different levels of abstraction. ARiSA services and products represent the results of almost 10 years of education, research and development in program analysis and visualization – at university level and in cooperation with industry. Current customers and project partners cover a range of branches and include, e.g., Eurocontrol (European organization), Combitech AB (IT-solutions, Saab group), Alstom Power Sweden (Energy technology), Artisan Global Media AB (Web solutions) and many others.

Customers Benefit

Customers benefit from quality awareness of their software architects, designers, and programmers. The VizzAnalyzer automates quality assessment tasks, which are usually manual and, hence, makes it more efficient and objective. This is especially valuable when looking at current trends in software development, like outsourcing of software production to third companies and integration of open source components. An increasing number of customers of software-developing companies, especially in the public and military sector, simply require controlled quality processes. We support you in defining what quality means in your company/project, effectively measure it with a high level of confidence, and support you in your quality management.

If you are interested in commercial support for our quality assurance tools and services please contact us at Softwerk AB.
