Quality Monitor™ reverse code engineering: the view (by yWorks) shows the actual UML design of a system. Quality Monitor™ code analysis: the view shows quality indicators of classes and packages of a system.

Quality Monitor™

Quality MonitorQuality Monitor™ is a web-based quality analysis tool for software and technical documentation. Software and other design specifications and documentations can be uploaded. Then Quality Monitor™ performs standard or custom quality analyses. It is easily adaptable to the quality needs of a company or project and can be harmoniously integrated in existing development and build processes.

Quality Monitor™ is a web service for analyzing and visualizing architecture and internal quality of large IT systems. It extracts information from a system's source code or other specifications and documentations of the system. Then it performs analyses and applies quality metrics. Finally, it visualizes the results on a web frontend which can be accessed from all stakeholders.

Plug-in for many programming and documentation languages exist, e.g., for Java, .Net, PHP, Delphi, as well as for XML/DITA, PDF and many more. New languages can be integrated easily. Also other "Q" tools can be integrated in Quality Monitor™ as well as third party analysis, metrics, and visualization tools.

VizzAnalyzer and VizzMaintenance

VizzAnalyzer is the analysis engine of Quality Monitor™. It has been evolved for more than ten years as described in many research papers. Today, Quality Monitor™ offers everything that VizzAnalyzer did before and much more. Therefore, we do not market VizzAnalyzer any longer, neither as a stand-alone product nor as a library. However, we still maintain VizzMaintenance which can be downloaded freely.

VizzMaintenance is an Eclipse plug-in providing metrics analysis for assessing maintainability of large Java systems. It provides detailed information about the maintainability of your classes in your software system. It uses static analysis to calculate 17 in literature well-discussed software quality metrics. It then combines these values in a software quality model. It supports your decisions which classes should be refactored first to improve their maintainability. Information can be exported to the clipboard for further analysis in other tools. The VizzMaintenance Eclipse plug-in requires Eclipse 3.5 or higher.
